PIGS
Pigs are deeply emotional, intelligent beings who feel joy, fear, comfort, and love much like we do. They form strong bonds, remember kindness, and seek affection from those they trust. At the sanctuary, they love belly rubs, naps in the sun, and making their opinions known-often loudly. Each pig here is treated as the unique, sensitive individual they are.
GOATS
Goats are bright, expressive spirits with a deep desire to connect. Behind their playful curiosity is a strong emotional awareness and loyalty to their herd. When given love and freedom, goats show just how joyful and affectionate they can be.
RABBITS
Rabbits are quiet, observant, and surprisingly affectionate once they feel safe. They communicate through subtle body language and enjoy calm environments where they can relax and explore. Their gentle presence adds a sense of peace to the sanctuary.
SHEEP
Sheep are tender souls who find safety in togetherness and routine. They are sensitive to their surroundings and the emotions of those around them, offering quiet companionship in return. In a place where they are protected, sheep blossom into calm, trusting individuals.
DONKEYS
Donkeys are emotionally complex and profoundly loyal companions. They feel deeply, grieve losses, and protect those they love with quiet strength. When treated with kindness and respect, donkeys offer a bond that is steady, soulful, and unforgettable.

Francine aka “Frannie”
Meet Frannie, our gentle giant and pampered princess with a heart full of love and just the right amount of sass! She’s overcome so much in her 6 years of life, recently bouncing back after a toe amputation. She now proudly throws a “Hook ‘em” salute with her hoof, showing off her playful Longhorn spirit.
